This will actually remove the your workspaces - unlike the VS/TFS Source Control Explorer which simply does not display them - duh!
 
From the VS command prompt:
  tf workspaces /remove:*

Actually, this will just remove them from the workspace cache on your local machine.

To delete them from the server, you need to use tf workspace /delete.
