Recent developer events in the middle of the country...

I atttended and presented at a couple of very interesting .Net events in the midwest in the last few weeks.

First, there was DevLink (www.devlink.net) in Nashville TN.  This event was the maiden voyage of a hopefully annual event for the TN area.  Registration was somewhere north of 500, with over 300 actually showing up.  Great turnout for a first year event, and it was driven by the community.  A couple of Microsoft speakers, lots of partners, MVP's and RD's.  Look to the devlink site for info about next year, and if you feel inclined, speaking opportunities.  Looking forward to next years event.

And just last week, I trekked North to the land of Omaha, ate a good steak, actually found a decent sushi restaurant in the great plains, and presented on WF at the Heartland Developers Conference (www.heartlanddc.com).  This event is in it's third or fourth year, and attendance was in the High 400's.  3 tracks, 2 days, great reviews from the crowds.  Again, stay tuned for this event next year.  Well worth attending.
