Tangible Thoughts SharePoint, MOSS? and all the other questions

With all the different posts running around about the Starter Edition of Windows XP, I was writing a post myself on it, but I am going to save that for another time.

Anyway I was going to link to the following articles

But.... Just a bit of commentry

Right now I think there really is no value in the Starter Edition, infact its 800x600 resolution more than qualifies it for a format. If Microsoft are thinking of combating piracy they should think of cutting costs and not functionality, because right now the starter edition is no competition for Linux on a value for money scale.

What Microsoft should do is think XP Home Edition only cheaper.

Infact why cant Microsoft think like most book publishers. i.e. think geographic pricing for instance Indian editions of books have the same content, only they don’t cost as much, and may have a little less glossy cover and are printed on cheaper paper. Still the content is the same.
