OK so this is my first ever blog....

As I have been repremanded by all my colleagues to get moving on this, here goes me jotting online...

Today I have come across a really useful blog about what it takes to be a consultant.

http://blogs.ittoolbox.com/pm/career/archives/got-traits-what-does-it-take-to-be-a-consultant-4045

Here Matthew Moran discusses the traits necessary for consultant.  Have read.

In discussing the key trait of Risk Resiliency, Matthew continues, " In fact, most consultants I know - certainly those who are successful - have never viewed the choice in terms of the risk. To be successful, you need to be focused on success factors, not potential failure factors. This has nothing to do with unrealistic ideas - just how they are viewed. For instance, the successful consultants and firms that I know, do not view lack of sales as a risk but in terms of the need to increase and improve sales and marketing."
