Citrix & Flash audio

Has anyone encountered poor sounding audio in a flash file that is viewed over a Citrix session?

Other file formats such as mp3 and wav stream ok and sound fine while through Citrix, but audio that is part of a flash movie sounds horrible.  I've set our server's audio bandwith to high as well as setting the client's bandwith to high and the sound doesn't improve in flash movies.  Speedscreen doesn't help either, it only improves animation in flash, not the sound.  So far I'm stumped on a solution to this, if there is one.

Gravatar We're in the process of doing a hardware rollout that involves users viewing tutorial flash videos over Citrix. Our IT guy said from that start that sound over Citrix can be dicey, and we've just accepted that there's no way to really "fix" the issue.

If we come up with somethign I'll let you know.

Gravatar Did you resolve this issue? We have had the same problem with a client - where the audio (external MP3) through Flash sounds awful. 5/20/2008 8:05 AM | Paul Allman
