SharePoint: Populating Drop Down List Field with Data from Different Site

So, one of my SharePoint buddies from Dallas gave me a call yesterday and had a problem. They needed to populate a drop down field with data from a SharePoint List on another site. If the list were in the same site, it wouldn’t be an issue, just create a lookup field on that list right? Well, what do you do if the list is in another site? This year promises to be filled with many new SharePoint challenges and opportunities. So, I thought I’d take a minute to reflect on this past year and what’s coming for me this year. A Look Back at 2009 2009 was a truly awesome year for me as a year of growth in SharePoint and I learned that I have SO much more to learn. One of the great...
