Office 12 is going to have built in support for PDF’s! More info can be found here.
Now this is a feature that Office really has needed for a few versions since PDF came to prominence.
Many would argue that this is a little late as the world and his life have purchased a third-party solution to turn documents into PDF’s (and even back again) I can see a very lucrative market being wiped out.
The ask for native PDF support has been going on for so long now that Office not having it was more of a pain than anything else. So, why has it taken so long? … And why do I have to wait till Office 12?
Could it be in the next Office 2003 service pack? (Oh by the way if you haven’t heard already service pack 2 for Office 2003 is available here)
