I am a part of a consulting company that says that it is very good on training their consultants.
Well, more or less they would like you to attend at least 2 training events a year.
The problem that I have is that they don't want to send all the consultants off to Trade Shows like DevConnections and TechEd, because of the costs involved. I can understand that. The problem is that since I have acheived my MCT, all of the training that I can find in town is the same courses that I already have access to.
So as the question that I posed in the title suggests, what do you do for training?
I don't have much time to read books straight through unless they are quick reads, and I like to try out new things such as agile techniques, new areas of technology that I haven't used yet or much, and anything that generally would make my life as a developer easier and more fulfilling.
If you have any suggestions, I would appreciate it.
