ArcSig Meeting Microsoft Ft. Lauderdale 03/17/2009
Jason Milgram’s excellent session “Building a Message Oriented Cloud Middleware Service in WCF” brought a great amount of usergroup members to the meeting, despite the fact that it was St. Patrick’s Day!
Jason explained in detail the Architecture of his solution, named Linxter. With Linxter you are able to rapidly build connected applications using Microsoft developer tools. The solution encapsulates the complexities of Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) and exposes its powerful features through a few method calls. Jason introduced 4 starter kits and demonstrated the messaging functions live, sending and receiving messages via the Boston host and data center. Really cool stuff! Take a look at Jason's web page!
