Jeff, Dave, and I, talked in December 2008 about the idea to setup a session for the ArcSig meeting, solving actual architecture problems brought up by group members. In dire need for a title, I called it "iPimp your Architecture", what caused some discussion, but we got a few good ideas for different names from the participants. Since the Microsoft meeting room was blocked, we met for an informal meeting at the local "Owl", well known for tacky chicken wings and other delights. We had a good conversation about some application problems and issues, making them a subtopic for the next meeting
