.Text error "Post operation failed"

I just tried to post a message and got a message:

Post operation failed: Specified cast is invalid.

Anyone else got this ?

I get that every now and then too. It's kind of annoying. It usually goes away after a while. I'm not sure what causes it - if it's the post I'm writing or the system having issues.

Do you write your posts in something other than the .Text interface, and then copy them over? That's when I have issues.

Scroll down on the screen with the error and you can see your text available to copy.

Alternatively, use the browser back button and you can frequently find it there also. I have gotten into the habit of copying the post HTML to the clipboard to ensure I have a copy if the post fails.

Hi still have the message today.

I tried a post and a re-post. Same thing. On the repost, I have a script error, however.

I have the page stored on my desktop. I'll take a look at it and check if there's anything there that would make it crap.

I got around the error by writing 1 paragraph, saving, adding another paragraph, saving, etc.

I still can't see why I got this error.
