New Things I Learned

An another one has passed us by - this past weekend was the St. Louis Day of .NET, the 6th conference. It was a great event. Due to my hectic work schedule, I've not had meet up with some people for awhile and it was good to see them during the conference.

I'd like to give a shoutout to the people I meet: Eric BrownLee BrandtBoon LeeJonathan MillsRob Keefer and Jesse Phelps.  Also thanks to DODN's main organizers: Jeff Fattic (thanks for giving me the opportunity to present), Scott Spradlin, Kevin Grossnicklaus and Jeff Strauss.

I was fortunate enough to deliver 2 subjects: Parallelism in .NET and Code First Entity Framework.  I promised that I will put up my materials and I am late in doing so.  My company moving office space this past weekend didn't help matter (but we're up and running again - yay!).

Materials for Parallelism can be found here and the Entity Framework one is available here.  My apologies to those that wanted it sooner, a couple of people emailed me asking for the materials (which I've hold off on responding since I would like to put them up here).

In any case, even though it took awhile to prepare the sessions, I think they were delivered fairly well and hopefully it can benefit some of those that were looking into the topic.  I'd like to thank the DODN organizer for allowing me to present this year, and hopefully my efforts have not been detrimental to their name and efforts.
