Twitter Plugin for GWB

Has anyone else noticed that the Twitter plugin for GWB doesn't appear to update consistently? I've noticed that over the course of a few days, the twitter feed on my blog gets REALLY stale. In order for it to update, I have to go into the Options menu, and "re-attach" my twitter account to my blog. Once I do that, it pulls the latest tweets in to the blog, but over the course of the next day or two..its back out of sync again. Anyone else see this? Am I just cracked? Is there a setting in the Options...

IE 8 Beta?

Hear ye Hear ye, looking for some info from the Geekdom about IE Version 8. Does anyone have a rough idea about when it would be rolling out of beta and into full production release? The reason I ask is that I have a beta version installed in my testing lab here at (redacted job location) and I've discovered that our commerce sites have some issues with IE 8. And the dev management wants to know when it would be going into full production so we can start prioritizing fixes for IE 8 compatibility....

ASP .NET Framework testing?

The company I work for is in the process of converting management of our website from a manual dev process into a Content Management System delivery architecture. However, I am in an arena of technology I'm not as comfortable with and I am looking for some suggestions. First and foremost, does anyone have any links to resources online for functional testing strategies for testing ASP .NET Master Pages...

Silent .BAT files??

I've got a .BAT file in the start menu of all the machines we run our automation scripts on. This .BAT file will update the registry to "turn off" the screen saver. We have to do this for two reasons--1) QTP will bomb if a screensaver kicks in and 2) the Net Nazis where I work have disabled the GUI used to set the screensaver settings. Yes I know its a hack but what choice do I have. My problem with this .BAT file is this: On 2 of the 5 machines, it runs completely silently. No fuss no dialogs, nothing....

WHAT THE &^*^&*(^ IS AN MTP DEVICE!!!

I own a Creative Zen Vision: M. And I love it. OR...should I say I did love it until yesterday. For some reason, which I have yet to determine, when I link my Zen to my PC, my machine tries to reinstall the drivers including an "MTP device". AND FOR SOME #$#%$%^$ REASON--Its giving me an error I have yet to find a solution to. When the install attempt is complete, Windows responds with: "There was a problem installing this hardware: Creative Zen Vision: M An error occurred during the installation...
