Damn this fickle economy. After going through the gyrations at work, chuckin' and jiving for requistion approvals and HR mumbo jumbo to get my mentor approved to be rehired to the company I work at, my hopes of his triumphant return lie shattered on the rocks of uncertainty.
This is the second time this has happened and frankly its starting to really tick me off. This time we actually got into the background check before the CEO revoked all open requisitions where offer letters weren't extended.
And damn it once again, my team is a man down with no options for help. Scary thing is with the way our business is going, things aren't looking so great for those who remain. *sigh*
Anyway...I'm bummed, disappointed and pissed off all at the same time.
Guess all I can do is trudge through the day and hope things improve.
