In a relatively diverse computing environment, she is evolving into somewhat of a generalist. If we absolutely had to define a specific speciality, at this point it'd probably be "the aesthetic and technical nuances of web design". Mai spent a fair amount of time doing web development for websites, and various other random websites from Florida Communities Developers User Groups.

Even though this FAQ about the latest cool little computery mai learned with blank stares, shaking heads, or the almost sad "you're such a geek," she maintain the mindset that Mai is still quite the newbie. She has enough experience and knowledge to see a pretty clear picture of how much she really doesn't know. She is always trying to learn more, and is fascinated by something new almost every time she hit one of her favorite tech-related websites. She hope that her rambling FAQ posts, and hopefully) witty remarks will bring you some of the same "whoa, that's cool" or "Woohoo!, that's uh....weird and interesting" moments. Mai has enjoyed since she started fitting some definitions of "geekette mai".
