Are You a PC?

So it turns out I'm a PC. Are you?

I've been having trouble getting into this whole I'm a PC thing. I am a PC.

But I'm also a Mac and a Penguin.

# re: Are You a PC?

Its not all that bad. I would like to go the frozen north or climb up a tree but neither of those products are really much different than Windows, in its basic form.

I mean really, what is the REAL difference between Linux, Mac (or Apple), Windows, Sparc, etc. The answer: the HARDWARE. In reality Linux accomidates to both Mac and Windows H/W but neither gives a benefit over the others.

If you say that there are less viruses and such that attack the operting systems, your wrong. Just no one wants to develop the malicious code for them cause it wont do as much damage. The fact is that all operating systems have the same flaws as others just whether others have the initiative and determination to develop against those flaws. Boasting about something like security is a mute point, most malicious developers bet on a users incompetence and therefore derive the exposure from the user installing the software without knowing it and as such, creates a problem that no O/S can properly defend against.

Give me a O/S that has "High Security" against attacks and ill show you a hollow product.

Now that i got that off my chest, have a good day :)
