Lots of people have been comparing the new Google Blog Search with others like Technorati, PubSub, and Bloglines. Until the last few days, I've been using Bloglines and Bloglines Citations to keep track of blogs talking about or linking to my own blog or my company's RSS feed. Now I'm finding that Google is doing a better job.

For example, a search on Bloglines of all blogs for "IP*Works!" gives me two results (really one, since both of their results are the same blog post!)

A search on Google Blog Search gives me 18 results on the same "ipworks" criteria. Although some of them appear to be "spam feeds", thats ok, because most of them are not. Hopefully Google will find a way to get rid of the results from spam feeds. Posted on Tuesday, September 27, 2005 3:07 PM General | Back to top
