This is not a formal announcement, nor is this a sure thing. We are in the "gauging interest and exploring feasability" stage. Code Camp Vegas may or may not happen in 2009... or ever.

After scouring the area for a .NET user group and coming up empty, a couple of cohorts and myself are attempting to organize the first ever MidWest Code Camp Vegas!
We are looking at a date around Feb 21, 2009. We have a couple of different ideas for this code camp, look for a two-day format with a little twist. If all goes as planned, there will be a large "hands-on" component to this code camp - an agile programming experience in addition to the "traditional" tracks and sessions.
In addition, we are hoping to offer sessions and/or activities for spouses/significant others during the hours that code camp is in session.
This code camp is also known as LGDAC, but that moniker is not advertised. Extra points for anyone who can figure out what that is!
I am very excited - this is in the earliest of stages, but I think this will end up being a very cool and valuable event.
