I have fixed, over and over, these types of printers and want to warn everybody that they suck...

1) Brother DCP 7020

2) HP LJ 42XXx

3) Anything HP all-in-one

Reasons why? All of the above printers/multifunction machines suck. Not a good enough answer? This is true because #1 on my list, the Brother DCP 7020 does not have any type of support where I can buy the parts I need directly from Brother, the manufacturer. #2 sucks because it has this wonderful malfunction called the “torque limiter clutch” which can be found inside the paper tray. This wonderful gadget causes a 13.01.00 jam over and over and over and over again, and replacing it means you have about a month until it happens again... #3 sucks in its entirety, because HP has this excellent way of making sure their all-in-ones stop functioning either right at, or just after the warranty expires. Who rights the firmware for these darn things?

So beware, and hope this helps someone out there...

Interesting choice for a first post.

For the record, I have owned an HP all-in-one printer for over 7 years and it still functions PERFECTLY as it has ever since the day I got it. I've never had a moment of trouble with it.

I certainly can not say that about the other printers I have owned or worked with throughout the years.
