What is Web Client Software Factory (WCSF)?
WCSF is a web client development pattern recommended by Microsoft. You can use the software factory to easily create Web client applications with a consistent architecture. It helps you quickly incorporate many of the proven practices and patterns of building Web client applications
What do I achieve out of this?
1.     Your development time goes down a lot.
2.     You will have a consistent architecture.
3.     You will get a guidance automation package to guide you through your development.
What is this Meant For and What Not?
The software factory is optimized to create online business transaction processing Web sites. It is not optimized for Web content sites or collaboration sites
How do I use this?
You can download Web Client Software Factory - February 2008from MSDN site. There are few dependencies before
installing WCSF which are listed below.

3.      Enterprise Library for .NET Framework 3.1– May 2007
You can make composite web client applications using WCSF. However to make business entitiy class from database design and to link your stored procedures with these entity classes Msoft came up with another wonderful tool called repository factory. (http://www.codeplex.com/RepositoryFactory)  We have used this in our projects and got around 70% productivity improvement leaving the learning curve to use guidance automation out of the calculation.
