Network Media uPnP
I wrote last time about setting up my Linksys router with DD-WRT and sharing my media on the local network with a USB storage drive. I had intended to also install a Universal Plug and Play (uPnP) media server on the router, but never could find a good media server that ran on embedded Linux. I tried uShare, and it worked OK, but only with my pictures. I also attempted to run TwonkyMedia, but never could get it installed on the router. Motorola Cable Box and DVI Error
I upgraded to HD from Comcast a few weeks ago. I received a new HD box (Motorola DCH-3200) to be able to get 1080i programming. However, when I plugged in the HDMI cable into the TV and cable box, the cable box would always power on, go through the power on self-tests, and then lock up, displaying DUI / DU1 in the display.
