Welcome to Reality II
I saw this ZDNet article about what could be the first Mac botnet. It looks like the malicious code comes down when pirated copies of iWork ‘09 and Photoshop CS4. No real surprise there. All in all I am not terribly surprised about using Macs as zombies either, I always thought it would happen one day. E74 - RROD Take Two
I saw today on several outlets that Microsoft is extending their free repair policy. This time it is to cover the ever increasing E74 errors on the XBox 360. I think that extending the warranty to cover these failures was the right thing for Microsoft to do. Of course it would have been even better if these issues were worked out during R&D but that horse has left the barn. I am still wrestling with trading in my 360 for a PS3. Dynamic Order By in Stored Procedure
Here is a way to change the Order By in a sproc using Case. I find it useful when I am writing a sproc that specifically feeds a report (usually in SSRS) and has different sort possibilities. After the user picks the report and how they want it sorted from the application it is outputted directly to a PDF so they can’t change the sorting.
