My latest laptop is is a 1440 x 900 widescreen. They haven't impressed me. In stores, the only thing you see on them is a bunch of swimming fish. I don't do fish. Maybe a fake fireplace, but not fish. But when I started using my laptop I fell for the widescreen hard. In fact, I just went out to Dell and bought the E207WFP (1680 x 1050) on sale for $235. It's $309 for the 19" square or $235 for the 20" wide. What a hoot!
