DON'T BUY SONY PLAY STATION 2 SLIM!!!!!!!!
I recently bought a new Play Station 2 SLIM. I thought it was pretty cool since it was pretty small and thin hence the term "SLIM". Anyway, the whole system crashed like 5 times. It just did not load any games. So, I went and replace with another Play Station 2 SLIM. That lasted like 1 day and the next day it died with the "Disc Read Error". I went online and found out that SONY is selling defective products since this problem has been faced by many other people. I am really dissapointed in SONY!!! ......

Retain Values in FormView Control after Item has been Inserted
Recently someone asked me that how can I retain the values in the controls inside the FormView control after the insert operation. I thought a simple EnableViewState = "true" would do the trick but it was much complicated then that. According to some postings you can easily enable to retain the values in the controls by using a e.KeepInInsertMode = true; inside the FormView item inserted event. Unfortunaltely the technique did not work and for some reason the FormView control was always clearing ......

Running Total Example (Fixed)
Few days ago I blogged about how you can create a running total with the TextBoxes inside the GridView control. The article about the running total can also be found on the GridViewGuy website. One of the readers pointed out that the sample code would not work if the user will edit the amount. This was offcourse a big problem if the users make a mistake and try to edit it. I worked on the problem and found a simple solution. The solution to this problem is to iterate through the textboxes and calculate ......
