I am so fed up with Visual Studio.NET 2005. First of all
it is slow as hell, It makes me feel that I am using a computer developed in the
80's. It compiles each page into an assembly !!! Not sure who was the
genius behind this idea. Then they came out with Web
Application Project which has the same compilation model as Visual
Studio.NET 2003 had. Okay good enough but how should I install it. Whenever I
try to install it says you have previously versions already installed on your
machine. Okay, fair enough but if previous versions are already installed why
can't I see them in the "Add/Remove Programs" using the control panel. I think
the best way is that when the new version is ready to install it should prompt
that "Do you want to uninstall the old version and intall the new version?".
One other annoying thing is that it simply hangs up when debugging. This
does not happen all the time but 5% of the time the whole application
freezes and it hangs up. What's up with that???
