TechEd 2007 is over...

Well, it has been quite some time since I blogged anything or had any spare time BUT I have been inspired for at least the moment.

I just returned from TechEd 2007 in Orlando and I must say that it again was well worth the time, effort and price.  As always there, I never had less than 10 sessions I wanted to see for every time slot and I do not believe I was disappointed with any that I attended.  I would list a few of the best but it would take me hours to create the list!

So, the hot topics for me were LINQ, Security, New features and various topics on VS 2008, SQL Server 2008 and Windows Server 2008.  Silverlight was definitely a hot and cool topic, but I did not get to attend too many sessions on it.  Not too many great revelations but a great variety of speakers and topics.  I must say that there are many unsung heroes that man some of the BOF and TLC sessions and booths.  To all of those who answer the many questions of the masses, I salute you!

As for me, I hope that this is the start of many timely and hopefully interesting blog entries.

Looking forward possibly attending TechEd 2008 in Orlando next year!
