IBM WebSphere MQ doesn't work on Virtual PC. You can install it, but when you try to work with it using MQ Explorer, 2 of the MQ processes start to consume most of the CPU resources. With no activity on the system, amqzlaa0 and amqzlsa0 will constantly consume 50% to 70% of the CPU time. Once MQ Explorer is closed, another process, amqzmuc0, also starts consuming CPU resources. At other times, the queue manager won't start with amqzlaa0 consume all the CPU resources. I got identical results on Windows ......
